    • The author has done an impressive job of gathering together the bulk of the important contributions to the structure theory of rings without finiteness assumptions, a service for which all present and future research workers in this area should be thankful. It is replete with interesting unsolved problems, and will undoubtedly become a standard reference for some years to come. It represents a valuable addition to the Colloquium series.

      M. Henriksen
