Book DetailsSéminaires et CongrèsVolume: 34; 2025; 316 ppMSC: Primary 20; 57
This volume contains the proceedings of one of the first hybrid conferences in geometric group theory, which brought together two conferences cancelled following the COVID-19 pandemic. One was in honor of Ruth Charney, and the other was a workshop on generalizations of hyperbolicity, a theme that benefited greatly from the influence of Ruth Charney.
The articles in this volume reflect the organizers’ goals of making geometric group theory accessible and open to all. This volume can be seen as a capsule of questions and answers that this part of the community was asking itself in the summer of 2021.
A publication of the Société Mathématique de France, Marseilles (SMF), distributed by the AMS in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Orders from other countries should be sent to the SMF. Members of the SMF receive a 30% discount from list.
ReadershipGraduate students and research mathematicians interested in geometric group theory.
