Index of selected terms and symbols
Since the objective of this index is to summarize the nonstandard terminol-
ogy and notation in this article, entries are generally limited to such items. In
particular, no attempt has been made to list standard terminology for transfor-
mation groups as defined and used in [Bre2], [tD], [DS], or [P]. In order to keep
the length of this index within reasonable limits, minor variations of notation
involving routine substitutions (for example, B(QFY) instead of B(QFX)) are
frequently omitted. Terms with Greek letters are generally listed as if the letter
names were spelled out in the usual way.
